ROB BAKER

Rob is a Project Director in the manufacturing and engineering industry with some 30 years of experience in international trade.

He has recently returned to education and will complete his master’s degree (Oxford Brookes Global MBA) in June 2021.

Married, and with two daughters – both of whom attended Bishop Loveday and the Warriner School prior to their respective universities – Rob adopted Banbury as his home town in 1999 and is keen to share his business experience and expertise, across management, logistics and supply chain, manufacturing and commercial to benefit the WMAT.

JENNIE PERRY

Jennie has several years experience as a school Governor and as a Chair of Governors. She became a Trustee of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust at its establishment in 2015. She currently works as a Lead Early Years Advisory Teacher for Oxfordshire County Council, following a teaching career in the early years and across the Primary age range. Her professional job complements her roles as Trustee and there are many areas of expertise which enhance her position as Chair of the School Improvement committee of the WMAT, including around safeguarding, the EYFS, data analysis and curriculum development.

JANET WATTS

Janet Watts has managed and led multi skilled teams over the course of her career in the financial services industry and, since having children, she has continued this in the voluntary sector chairing several local groups.  She has spent the last 12 years working for a small but dynamic gastro pub company handling a variety of areas such as recruitment, IT, H & S, compliance and facilities management and brings these skills to the Warriner Multi Academy Trust where she sits on the Central Services and Personnel committees. She strongly believes that we now have control over our own destinies with the schools in the Trust being empowered by the sharing of knowledge, skills and resources to offer an enriched and seamless education to all our pupils.

BRIAN HEATHER (ACMA,CGMA)

Brian has several years experience as both a Governor and Chair of Governors. He is married with 2 boys who have both attended Sibford Gower Endowed Primary School and The Warriner School. During the day Brian is a chartered accountant who has worked in a variety of senior financial and commercial roles in a corporate environment, within the constantly changing Telecommunications sector.

Brian was part of the steering group that brought together the group of schools as part of the Warriner MAT, and he used his business experience and skills in helping to deliver a successful conversion to academy status. He continues to use those skills in his capacity as a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee as part of the Warriner MAT board, to ensure all of the schools thrive with excellent outcomes for pupils in a stable financial environment.

DUNCAN RAPER

Duncan has many years experience as a school governor and has served as a Chair of Governors in both a primary and secondary setting. He has 2 daughters, both attended Hornton Primary School and The Warriner School. Duncan is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in Industry for over 30 years.

Duncan was also part of the steering group that ultimately formed the Warriner MAT. He is a Trustee and The Chair of the Trust Board and as such is also a Member of the Warriner MAT.

ANNABEL KAY

Dr Kay is the Headteacher of The Warriner and the CEO of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust.

MARK HOWARTH

Mark has many years experience as a school Governor and a Chair of Governors. He is married with 3 children who have all attended Bishop Carpenter and the Warriner School. Mark has worked for large multi national corporations in senior sales, marketing and procurement positions. Mark is looking to use these skills in his capacity as a Trustee and Chair of the Central Services Committee. As one of the Trustees who helped in the transition to Multi Academy Trust, Mark wants to ensure that all children are able to reach their full potential at all of the schools.

FRANCES BARTLETT

Frances has a rich and varied background in education. She has worked in several Local Authorities as a primary teacher and was a secondary English teacher and Initial Teacher Trainer in Botswana for three years before entering school leadership back in the UK. She is an experienced Primary Headteacher having led two schools through successful inspections and since January 2014 has worked as a schools adviser for the Diocese of Oxford. She is a Diocesan nominated Director for the Eynsham Partnership Academy and also the link adviser for the church schools in the Academy Trust.
