Straightaway, the school put measures into place in order for me to undertake my Initial Teacher Training and I received support and advice from across the school, not just within my department. At the end of My Journey at The Warriner School began with taking on a temporary cover role, teaching in the English Department.

What was initially due to last two weeks, soon grew to six months and the rest is history. It was clear to see that the staff here recognised the skills that I could bring to the role and were keen to develop these further. my teacher training, I achieved ‘Outstanding’ which would not have been possible without the provision of The Warriner School. Since then, I have been fully supported throughout my NQT year and professional development, taking on the role of KS3 Coordinator.
